We had an excellent stay in San Mateo as it was a great location for our one full day in San Francisco. The place is modern and clean and convenient for both San Jose and San Francisco as well as SFO. Great value!

We had a very pleasant stay. Quiet and comfortable. Close to amenities. It was a great base for all that we did.
